But at the time of writing this review Amazon is offering this printer for $50 less than I paid for it. I made several phone calls to Amazon and Canon but could not get it price adjusted. Amazon's new price is an internal 'instant rebate,' but Amazon no longer offers 'matching' even its own price. Oh well, you can't win all the time and I am pleased with the printer. Customer service for Amazon and Canon are both excellent. I use an iMac computer and it is compatible in all its functions. I've printed 53 b&w documents, 7 4x6 high quality photos, 2 sheets full of high quality photos, 17 color documents, 12 sheets of text with some color, and I made 4 color copies, for a total of about 100 printouts.
